Ah, springtime! The season of renewal, rebirth, and allergy medicine. It’s the time of year when we dust off our patio furniture, hide our winter coats, and start thinking about all the ways we can improve ourselves. Around this time of year I always feel the need to have a bit of a mindset renewal.

We can start this by taking a cue from the flowers and trees and try to bloom where we are planted. At the moment this is something I am struggling with as I try and find my place again in the working world whilst being a mum of two.

I have read theraphy notes on line that advise that we try and get rid of all those negative thoughts and feelings that may have been weighing you down all winter.

Maybe it’s time to learn a new skill, start a new hobby, or just finally clean out that junk drawer that’s been haunting you for years -I can see mine in my kitchen and its giving me major anxiety. Whatever it is, write it down and make a plan to achieve it.

Change doesn’t happen overnight, it is a process, and sometimes it can be a bit messy. But don’t worry, that’s what spring cleaning is for.

So lt’s give this a go and embrace the sunshine, the (slightly) warmer weather and the fact that you no longer have to wear seven layers just to leave the house. And most importantly, embrace the opportunity to renew your mindset and start fresh. Happy spring!x
